Keep a track of dangerous items

This should be your utmost priority. Make sure you keep an eye on any sort of medications you’ll be carrying along, and keep them out of reach of your children. Do the same with all the sharp tools and equipment you have, cutters, scissors and knives are just a few of them. Keep them in a hard-to-reach place so that your kids won’t hurt themselves while playing with sharp tools.

Keep all the toxic liquids and cleaners out of their reach

Cleaning supplies are another important item that you would not want to miss keeping out of the reach of your children. You will want to do a little cleaning on the moving day, so you might need some of the liquid cleaners and chemicals for that. But with children around, you just take the risk. Consider using milder and organic cleaning agents instead of harsh chemicals.

Keep an eye on all these other things

One of the best ways to figure out whether you place is completely childproof is to follow your kids around for 30-40 minutes. This way you will be able to see what they are attracted to, and make sure they don’t get themselves hurt while playing with it.

You might also want to keep an eye on the electrical supplies, staircases, plants, floor lamps, bookshelves and possibly every other item that a kid might get attracted to and can get themselves hurt.
